Beech Hill Church are actively involved with each of the following groups:
Nationally
We are part of the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC). The FIEC is a family of over 650 local churches from across the UK who are united by the Gospel and by a common Gospel purpose. Churches within the FIEC can look and feel quite different as each church is independent and makes its own decisions about style, ethos, and secondary issues such as baptism or church government.
Locally
As a local expression of that, we are part of a local grouping of seven FIEC churches. We have affectionately called ourselves the ‘Dales and Vales’ group. The group consists of Jennyfield Evangelical Church in Harrogate, Nidderdale Community Church in Darley, Grace Church in Boroughbridge, Bethel Church in Ripon, Hope Church in Easingwold, and York Evangelical Church in the centre of York.
We are part of the Yorkshire Gospel Partnership (YGP). The YGP is a group of Bible believing churches in Yorkshire from different denominations and traditions, including Baptists, Methodists, Anglicans (Church of England), Presbyterians, and free churches. The Yorkshire Gospel Partnership encourages churches in Yorkshire to work together to promote the good news of Jesus Christ across the region, and they run a number of conferences each year.
Otley Food Bank provides food parcels and support to families and individuals in need. We have a drop-off point in our foyer, and several of our members help out with packing and distributing the parcels.
