Carols to Make Your Heart Sing

This year things are back something like approaching normal again. So this year we’re going to have an in-person carol service as we have done in years gone by. The theme of the services this year is “Carols to Make Your Heart Sing”.

**Due to recent changes in regulations masks are required to be worn (unless exempt) apart from when singing or eating and drinking.**

Sunday 19 December | 5pm | Main Carol Service
This will be our main carol service with traditional carols, readings, and a talk from Matthew’s Gospel. The theme is “O Little Town of Bethlehem” and we’ll be hearing how the great King was born in Bethlehem as predicted long ago. We’ll get out the candles, dim the lights and enjoy singing and hearing the message of Christmas. All are welcome from whatever age or background. The service will be followed by (non-alcoholic) mulled wine and mince pies.

They’ll also be a Christmas theme to some of our other services over Christmas.

Sunday 19 December | 10:30-11:30am | Family Carol Service

This will be our family carol service, a bit more fun and quirky, with a few more carols aimed at children. The theme will be “Angels from the Realms of Glory” as we hear how Mary and Joseph heard that they were expecting a special son. The service will be followed by (non-alcoholic) mulled wine and mince pies.

Sunday 26 December | 10:30am | Boxing Day Service

Our boxing day service will carry on the Christmas cheer with carols and readings. The theme is “We Three Kings” and we’ll be hearing about the those visitors from the East bringing their gifts to the new King born in Bethlehem. The service will be followed by (non-alcoholic) mulled wine and mince pies (if you can fit them in after the day before!)

Online Carol Service
