Sundays are great for getting a lot of people a little, Home Groups are great for getting to know a few people a lot better. Home groups are a great way to get know people better and allow for more discussion, personal interaction and prayer than you might get on a Sunday.
What happens at a Home Group?
We meet at the home of different people from church and discuss a passage of the Bible together, and then we share items for prayer and pray together.
When/where are they?
We currently have two Home Groups as the Burley and Ilkley one have joined together for a while:
- Wednesday Night in Otley – 7:45pm
- Thursday Night in Ilkley/Burley-in-Wharfedale – 8pm
Who are they for?
We have people at lots of stages and of lots of different ages in our two groups. There’s usually between six and twelve people there depending on who’s able to make it. We encourage everyone at our church, whatever stage they’re at, to be part of a Home Group if they can.
If you want to come along and try one out then please get in touch so we can let you know where they’ll be meeting this week.
If you can’t make it out on an evening we have a daytime Bible study group called Wednesday@2 which you are welcome to come along to
