This is where Paul opens his heart and asks a question that still shakes us today: What is Christ worth to you?
Would you give up comfort? Status? Even your home?
Paul says, “I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.”
That’s not theory. That’s a man who actually lost everything—and still counted it as gain.
In this message, we’re going to explore what it means to treasure Christ above all else. Not out of guilt. Not out of pressure. But out of a deep, joyful realisation that knowing Jesus is better than anything we could ever hold onto.
So as you listen today, let this question settle into your heart:

How to be made clean

Tim wasn’t talking about hygiene or outward appearance, but something far deeper—how can a person be clean in the eyes of a holy God?
The Bible doesn’t shy away from the truth. In Romans 3, Paul writes:
“None is righteous, no, not one;
no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
All have turned aside…
no one does good,
not even one.”
It’s a sobering diagnosis. If none of us are righteous, how can any of us stand before God?
Through God’s Word, Pastor Tim guides us to the only answer—the One who can make us clean, even when we cannot clean ourselves.
