Series Church Anniversaries & Vision Days
Meeting Morning
Today at Beech Hill we celebrated 110 years since the church was first founded. So much has changed over the decades — the building, the faces, the seasons we’ve walked through — yet God’s word never changes.
This morning Pastor Chris opened Romans 13:8–14:7 under the title “How to Love One Another”, helping us see how the gospel shapes the way we live, serve, and care for each other as a church family.
Join us as we open God’s word together and give thanks for His faithfulness across every generation.

Passage Psalm 89:1-37
Speaker Chris Haley
Series Psalms: Songs in the Key of Life
Meeting Morning
Psalm 89 begins with confidence, celebration, and strong declarations of God’s faithfulness — the psalmist lifts up God’s covenant love and mighty works with joy.
But after verse 37, the tone changes. The psalmist looks at the brokenness around him and cries out in confusion, asking why God’s promises seem distant in the midst of suffering.
Today, Pastor Chris helps us walk through this dramatic shift — from praise to lament — and shows how even the psalmist’s hardest questions ultimately point us to the Lord Jesus, the true fulfilment of God’s covenant faithfulness.

Great is Your Steadfast Love — Psalm 86
Richard Hughes brings us a heartfelt teaching from Psalm 86, exploring four ways we can respond to God’s steadfast love:
• Remember what God has done for us and promised us
• Recognise our need and God’s greatness
• Relate to a loving Lord and Father
• Request what we need most
Richard also shares a verse that means so much to him —
“Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; unite my heart to fear your name.”
He reads it in Welsh, a beautiful moment that resonates for us all.

Passage Judges 19 to 21
Speaker Chris Haley
Series Judges
Meeting Evening
Pastor Chris brings our series on Judges to a sobering close as we step into chapters 19–21 — some of the darkest and most disturbing moments in the whole book.
Echoes of Sodom and Gomorrah run through these chapters as Israel spirals into chaos, with everyone doing what was right in their own eyes. What follows is a brutal national conflict and a devastating reminder of what happens when a people turn away from God.
Join us as Chris unpacks this grim but essential ending to Judges — and shows how even in the bleakest moments, God is still working out His purposes.

Meeting Morning
In our ongoing series through the Gospel of Luke, Pastor Chris takes us into Luke 5:12–26, where Jesus performs two remarkable miracles of healing. But there’s something even deeper happening in this passage.
As the crowds watch, Jesus says to one of the men, “Your sins are forgiven.”
It sparks outrage — “Only God can forgive sins!” they protest… not realising they are standing in the very presence of God Himself.
Join us as Chris unpacks this powerful moment, revealing the true authority of Jesus and the life‑changing significance behind these miracles.

Passage Judges 17 & 18
Speaker Chris Haley
Series Judges
Meeting Evening
Pastor Chris continues our series in Judges, and this week we step into one of the most surprising and unsettling parts of the whole book. We meet a man called Micah — and no, not Micah the prophet. These two are chalk and cheese. This Micah is a picture of what happens when people create their own version of faith, their own version of God, and their own version of truth.
It’s a story full of confusion, compromise, and spiritual drift. And it all sits under that haunting line: “Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.”
Judges 17–18 challenges us to ask: What happens when worship becomes self‑made? What happens when God is replaced with convenience? And what does this passage reveal about the world we live in today?

Passage John 20:1-29
Speaker Chris Haley
Series Easter Sunday 2026
Meeting Morning
Welcome to Beech Hill Church this Easter Sunday.
Today we’re celebrating the heart of the Christian faith—the resurrection of Jesus—and exploring how real people responded when they first encountered the empty tomb.
Pastor Chris takes us into John 20:1–29, where we meet three very different reactions to the risen Jesus:
John — quick to believe, recognising the truth with quiet confidence.
Mary — confused and overwhelmed, yet met with compassion and clarity by Jesus Himself.
Thomas — hesitant and honest, needing reassurance before he could fully trust.
Each response is deeply human, and each one invites us to reflect on our own walk with Jesus.
Are we quick to believe like John?
Are we mixed up and searching like Mary?
Are we tentative like Thomas, needing space to ask questions?
Pastor Chris opens these moments up with warmth and insight, helping us see that Jesus meets every kind of heart—steady, struggling, or uncertain—with grace.
Thanks for joining us.
We pray this message encourages you, challenges you, and draws you closer to the risen Christ.

Paul writes with such honesty here—he hasn’t “arrived,” he hasn’t “made it,” and he refuses to pretend otherwise. Instead, he’s straining forward, eyes fixed on something greater. But what exactly is that goal he’s chasing? And what does it mean for us, as followers of Jesus, to press on together?

Passage Philippians 3: 1-11
Speaker Chris Haley
Series Philippians: Partners in Joy
Meeting Morning
Today, Pastor Chris continues our journey through the book of Philippians, and we’re stepping into one of the most powerful, personal passages Paul ever wrote—chapter 3, verses 1–11.
This is where Paul opens his heart and asks a question that still shakes us today: What is Christ worth to you?
Would you give up comfort? Status? Even your home?
Paul says, “I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.”
That’s not theory. That’s a man who actually lost everything—and still counted it as gain.
In this message, we’re going to explore what it means to treasure Christ above all else. Not out of guilt. Not out of pressure. But out of a deep, joyful realisation that knowing Jesus is better than anything we could ever hold onto.
So as you listen today, let this question settle into your heart:
If Christ is truly your greatest treasure, what might He be inviting you to lay down so you can know Him more?

Tim wasn’t talking about hygiene or outward appearance, but something far deeper—how can a person be clean in the eyes of a holy God?
The Bible doesn’t shy away from the truth. In Romans 3, Paul writes:
“None is righteous, no, not one;
no one understands;
no one seeks for God.
All have turned aside…
no one does good,
not even one.”
It’s a sobering diagnosis. If none of us are righteous, how can any of us stand before God?
Through God’s Word, Pastor Tim guides us to the only answer—the One who can make us clean, even when we cannot clean ourselves.

Passage Luke 18 9-14
Speaker Chris Haley
Series Luke: The Gospel of Luke
Meeting Morning
Are you good enough to go to Heaven?
Most of us think we know the answer… until Jesus turns everything upside down.
This week, Pastor Chris opens up Luke 18:9–14, where Jesus tells a shocking parable:
A Pharisee—confident, polished, proud—thanks God that he’s “not like other people.”
A tax collector—broken, ashamed—can’t even lift his eyes, whispering, “God, have mercy on me, a sinner.”
And then comes the bombshell:
Jesus says only one of them goes home right with God… and it’s not the one everyone expected.
If you’ve ever wondered whether you’re “good enough,” or if God could really accept someone like you, don’t miss this powerful and surprising insight into God’s heart.
Join us as Pastor Chris unpacks what Jesus really meant—and why it still changes lives today.

Speaker Chris Haley
Series Ezekiel: Glimpsing His Glory
Meeting Morning
Welcome back to Beech Hill Church. Today we come to the final message in our current series on the book of Ezekiel—a journey through warning, hope, judgement, and the astonishing mercy of God.
In this week’s talk, Pastor Chris explores the many ways God sought to cleanse and restore His people. Again and again, the Lord reached out to them… yet ultimately, He came down in person—Jesus Christ—so that all who turn to Him and repent will be saved and spend eternity with Him.
Speaking from Ezekiel 36:16–38, Chris digs deep into God’s prophetic word, where the Lord declares:
“I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean… I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you.”
(Ezekiel 36:25–26)
This is a message of transformation, renewal, and the unstoppable grace of God. A God who does not give up on His people. A God who steps into history Himself to rescue us.
So settle in, open your Bible, and let’s listen together as Pastor Chris unpacks this powerful passage and points us again to the One who makes all things new.

Passage Ezekiel 29:1-9
Speaker Chris Haley
Series Ezekiel: Glimpsing His Glory
Meeting Morning
Welcome back to the channel — today Pastor Chris continues our journey through Ezekiel in a message titled The Prince of Egypt: Part 2. Now, you might notice he’s taking on four whole chapters — Ezekiel 29 to 32 — all in one go. If he didn’t, we’d be wandering around Egypt for a month… and nobody packed a lunch!
But there’s a deeper reason for this sweeping overview. These chapters paint a powerful picture of God confronting pride, exposing false security, and reminding His people who truly reigns. And as Pastor Chris shows, these ancient prophecies don’t just sit in the Old Testament — they echo forward into the New, pointing us to Jesus as the true and faithful King, the One who rescues, restores, and rules with righteousness.
So settle in, open your Bible, and join us as Pastor Chris helps us see how Ezekiel’s warnings and God’s promises come alive in the light of Christ.
